Dear HUD CoC Grantees,

 

As we announced last week, the new 2024 CoC Competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) was released. This means that if you have a project funded by CoC, DV Bonus or YHDP funds that ***correction from last email – will end in calendar year 2025 (1/1/25 – 12/31/25), you will need to apply to renew it. Examples of projects needing to renew:

  • Newly awarded PSH grant starting 8/1/2024 and ending 7/31/2025
  • RRH renewal application starting 7/1/2024 and ending 6/30/2025
  • YHDP renewal application starting 11/1/2024 and ending 10/31/2025

 

In a happy turn of events, e-Snaps is now open to create and submit renewal projects. What this means is that providers requiring submission of renewals can start now! Please note the renewal project intended name on this list. We will still have a webinar to explain the steps to complete this renewal application on August 15th at 10 a.m. The webinar will be recorded and put on the CT BOS website, but it is a good idea to join the live session if at all possible. This way, you can ask questions and get help, especially if you’re new to e-snaps or this process. Instead of the due date being 7 business days from e-Snaps opening, it will be Wednesday, August 21. Renewals are to be submitted in Zengine. See additional information on Zengine at the link below.

New projects are expected to be decided by the end of August.

New this year:

  • Staff will stay on Zoom link after presentation to provide technical assistance
  • Additional office hours session is scheduled for Tuesday, 8/20/24 at 11 a.m..

Note that the documents below marked with asterisks are updated to the 2024 versions. Others are 2023 versions, and expected to be similar. They will be updated as HUD provides the new materials. Providers may also check the CoC NOFO webpage for updates.

  • Ensure that you have access to eSnaps and ensure that you have added any staff members who need access as registrants in eSnaps. There should be at least 2 staff members who can access and have knowledge of use of eSnaps.
  • Review your applicant profile and make any necessary changes
  • Ensure that you have access and ability to submit documents in Zengine
  • Zengine Webpage
  • Review the instructions above and start your application (if it hasn’t already been started – check here) in e-snaps
  • Mark your calendars for the Renewal Webinar on 8/15
