Enhancement Request

Welcome to the CT HMIS CaseWorthy Database enhancement request process. To ensure clarity and inclusivity, we have established a transparent workflow that allows users to submit enhancement requests through a simple form located below. Each request undergoes a comprehensive review by CCEH (HMIS Lead) and Nutmeg Consulting (HMIS Admin) taking into account various criteria such as complexity, budget, and urgency before presenting to the HMIS Steering Committee. The process is clearly outlined, whether a request is approved, denied, or requires further investigation.

Our commitment to transparency aims to foster trust and engagement within the community, keeping you informed about the status of your request through the CTHMIS.com dashboard. Thank you for participating in this collaborative effort to improve our software for the benefit of all users.

Summary

Step 1: Request Submission

Submit your enhancement request through the Google Form on CTHMIS.com, providing necessary details such as your contact information, agency details, request type, and its benefits.

Step 2: Notifications & Tickets

Your request triggers an email to the CT HMIS Help Desk and is recorded on the Enhancement Request Board. Weekly reviews by CCEH & Nutmeg prepare for the Steering Committee’s evaluation.

Step 3: Steering Committee Review

The committee assesses your request and may seek additional information. They evaluate criteria such as implementation complexity, budget implications, and urgency before assigning a final score.

Step 4: Decision Process

Based on the committee’s assessment, your request follows one of the following paths:

Request Approved (Step 4A)

You receive notification of approval.

Development is scheduled internally at Nutmeg Consulting.

The request’s status is updated to Backlog, Assign to Sprint, or Converted to Project, depending on its complexity.

Request Denied (Step 4B)

You receive notification of denial along with a reason for the decision.

More Discovery Needed (Step 4C)

Insufficient information prompts further evaluation.

Possible areas for discovery include policy and impact review, technical assessment, budget/funding analysis, and other factors.

Findings are presented to the HMIS Steering Committee for a final decision.
