BNL Training SlidesBy Name ListA By Name List is a list of all known people experiencing homelessness by name. The purpose of a BNL is to coordinate resources to match clients experiencing homelessness to housing. Our redesigned CT HMIS By Name List (BNL) version 2 was launched on July 1, 2023, and is a more comprehensive list of everyone currently experiencing homelessness. Our statewide HMIS database contains real-time information and the BNL v2 uses that information to dynamically generate an active list based on enrollment data within the system.
