New Living Situation in DDAP

Overview

In alignment with recent guidance from the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), a new option has been programmed into the HMIS “Living Situation” field to match current DDaP requirements.

The newly added value is:

  • 47 – Temporarily Housed (temporarily with friends/family sleeping on couch, no designated space of their own)

Impact & Necessary Actions

When completing or updating a Periodic Assessment, users should select option 47 if it accurately represents the client’s current temporary living environment.
