Good afternoon CT HMIS Community:

We are excited to announce the CT HMIS Learning Management System (LMS) is now live! This is the first of two detailed communications to get everyone excited and ready for your new training experience.

The LMS platform will provide users with multiple modalities of training including self-paced and instructor led classes (ILC) all in one system. There are certain requirements that must be met per the HMIS Policy & Procedures Manual for new users to access the CT HMIS CaseWorthy database. Entry and access to LMS content has been designed to meet those requirements and provide auditability and reporting that requirements are being met for users to access the CaseWorthy database.

All of the CT HMIS community will have access to the LMS and its content. To ensure that the LMS is not being utilized by organizations outside the CT HMIS community, all users will need to submit a registration form. This form will be reviewed to verify that the requestor is part of an organization that has an active Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on file and their agency has agreed to comply with the policies and procedures approved by the CT HMIS Steering Committee.

After an LMS registration form is reviewed and approved, every new LMS user will receive their login credentials within 24 hours. Once logged in, all new LMS users will be auto enrolled in two one time mandatory classes before they can access role specific LMS training content for CT HMIS. The two mandatory trainings are:

New users that have an approved registration form will start receiving emails with LMS login credentials on Thursday morning, July 6. Please make sure to add the following email addresses to your email contact list to help prevent LMS emails from being flagged as spam and always check your spam folder.

We will have more fun and exciting information tomorrow with more detail and specifics on training pathways for new CT HMIS Caseworthy users. We appreciate your patience while we transition from our previous class registration process to this new LMS platform. We will do our best to make this transition as smooth as possible while providing you with an awesome learning experience!
