Instructions
An important part of the conversion process to the new ECM database is to make sure your agency has the correct computer software and operating system requirements in place. Please pass the information below on to whomever is responsible for your agency’s IT.
Operating systems supported
The minimum supported operating systems for using ECM:
- Windows 7: 32-bit and 64-bit: Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, Enterprise
System requirements
The system requirements for ECM are:

- DSL or high speed internet
Minimum Client Computer Specifications (Windows 7)
- Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2GHz or higher
- Memory: 1GB (32bit) 2GB (64 bit
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit: Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, Enterprise
- Disk space: 600MB free HD space (300 MB for Anti-virus only)
- Display: 32 – bit
Recommended Client Computer Specifications (Windows 7)
- Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2GHz or higher
- Memory: 2GB or more
- Disk space: 800MB free HD space (500 MB for Anti-virus only)
- Display: 64 – bit
