Dear CoC Program Providers,
CT BOS will conduct a training designed to take some of the mystery out of the administrative and cost documentation requirements that affect your program every day. Whether you’ve been navigating these rules for years or are newer to the CoC world, there’s something here for you.
Content:
- Documenting Staff Time
- Learn when a basic timesheet is sufficient – and when you’ll need additional documentation to stay compliant.
- Direct vs. Indirect Costs
- We’ll define the terms clearly and walk through examples to help you confidently categorize your costs.
- Project Administration Costs
- Find out which administrative costs are eligible for reimbursement in CoC projects and what documentation you’ll need to support them.
- Indirect Costs – a deeper dive
- This section gets into the details – including de minimis rates, Modified Total Direct Costs (MTDC), and Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreements (NICRA).
- We’ll also address whether indirect costs can count towards your match requirement.
This training is especially relevant for program directors, finance staff, and anyone involved in budgeting or grant compliance for CoC-funded programs. If cost documentation and administrative requirements fall anywhere in your lane, we encourage you to join us.
