Profile Update – BOS CoC-funded Providers
Dear Providers:
It is once again time to review and update your agency information. Please read the important information below about Zengine updates. Note that even if your information has not changed, you must go into Zengine and enter the most recent date reviewed. Make sure to take the needed steps. Keeping your contact information current is very important. If your information is out of date you may:
- miss out on important updates related to the upcoming project renewals,
- lose the ability to access essential program data in the Renewal Evaluation Database (RED), and
- lose points in the Renewal Evaluation process.
Why We Use Zengine
CT BOS uses Zengine to help manage our grants. We use it to:
- keep track of CoC grant details
- Collect important documents
- Keep a list of uo-to-date contacts
What You Need to Do
CT BOS CoC grant recipients, sub-recipients and providers must log into Zengine at least twice per year to review and update contact profile information. Please do the following within the next week:
- Log into Zengine
- Check your contact profile
- Update anything that has changed
- Make sure these things are correct:
- Staff who no longer work with you are removed and new staff added
- E-snaps user information is up to date – essential for project renewals
- As an important side note – ensure at least 2 people per agency have up to date e-snaps access. See below for related resources.
- Property management information is added and up to date
- Job titles are accurate
- New: Complete the field called “Date of most recent profile review”
- Click “Save” so your review and/or updates are recorded.
There’s now a section to add Property Managers contact information. If your programs work with Property Managers, please add them to Zengine. If your projects use more than 3 Property Managers, send their names and contact info by email to: ctboscoc@gmail.com.
E-Snaps Users
Zengine Contact Profiles require 2 e-snaps users. It is especially important this year to ensure that both users are familiar with e-snaps and can perform necessary tasks such as completing the technical submission (C1.9a) step to obtain funds. For assistance with that, please see the e-snaps 101 Toolkit linked here.
